Have you ever wondered if it was worth it to spend the extra gold on the Scar of Abyss Chest at the end of your Abyssal Dungeon in Lost Ark? We have used our Auction House pricing information (see our Lost Ark Auction House Companion) to auto update this spreadsheet for you. Now you will always know based on current auction house prices, if it is worth it to spend your gold on reward chests.
Our Friends over at FictionTalk have put together a neat tool to calculate if it’s worth it to spend the extra gold for the bonus reward after completing Abyssal Dungeons.
You should make sure you are on a character that is currently in the same tier as the abyss dungeon you just completed. The honing materials in the chest will be bound, so you won’t be able to sell those on the market. The stones you get from dismantling the accessories, however, are not bound.
Is the Abyssal Dungeon Bonus Reward Worth It?
In the below chart, look at the “Value” column to determine if it is worth buying the bonus chest. If it is green and positive, it is worth it! The cost of the chest is on the left side, and the current value of all the expected rewards is on the right end of the table. Furthermore, the Honing materials average costs for NA East and EUC are updated daily by FictionTalk, so you don’t have to check current market prices.
The spreadsheet in it’s full form can be viewed here from Reddit User Kashi1988.
