Frontrunner Season starts with a bang
Vertigo Games has released the latest update for the co-op zombie shooter, After the Fall, and it’s a big one that kickstart the game’s Frontrunner Season of content.
The big addition to After the Fall in the March 10th update is the addition of a brand new Horde Mode which can now be played with your mates – no bots allowed!
Horde Mode offers two maps, Junction and Highway, with either a full party of zombie slayers, r just a partial party of hardened players – but there will be zero bots to help you out, so bring as many mates as you can.
Every five waves, you’ll get a new reward, with the rewards getting better the further you progress. Do better, get better rewards. Simple.
After completing Wave 6, you’ll get a bonus reward: The Revolver blueprint, which will let you purchase the deadly weapon from the Armory for 5,000 Harvest. Better start saving…
The new Horder Mode update is completely free for all players on all platforms. There are also some fixes, tweaks, and improvements with this new update, though Meta Quest 2 players should be advised that there are still issues with the game crashing. Vertigo Games has said that the developers are still working non-stop to fix this annoying issue and players will be updated as soon as more is known.
