List of All Pokemon in Legends: Arceus

This article will be your bible for the listing of All Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus. We’ve listed out all Pokemon that have been confirmed to be in the game so far. With no official list, the best we can do is go off of the trailer and any official announcement information we have. As the game is released and the true full Pokedex is out, this will be updated, to bookmark it now!

Pokemon Legends Arceus is set to release on January 28th, 2022. This is the next installment of the Pokemon series and could possibly be their most ambitious title yet. Taking inspiration from the immense success of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the visuals and open world of this new game are beautiful and vast.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in a time long before any of the Pokemon games you have come to know and love. The game is set in the Hisui Region, which eventually will become the Sinnoh region from the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl installments. For the most part, you will notice Pokemon from Generation IV, but other generations will be scattered in the game as well.

New Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus

We have seen three entirely new Pokemon introduced so far, along with 5 new Hisuian skins for existing pokemon:

  • Basculegion
  • Wyrdeer
  • Kleavor
  • Braviary (Hisuin Skin)
  • Growlithe (Hisuin Skin)
  • Voltorb (Hisuin Skin)
  • Zorua & Zoroark (Hisuin Skin)

Basculegion – Evolution of Basculin

Basculegion Pokemon Arceus
Basculegion: Pokemon Arceus

Basculegion is the new evolution from Basculin. Here are some facts about it:

  • Category: Big Fish Pokemon
  • Type: Water/Ghost
  • Height: 9’10”
  • Weight: 242.5lbs

Here is the official description of the Pokemon:

Basculin in the Hisui region can evolve into this Pokémon. This Evolution occurs when a Basculin is possessed by the souls of other Basculin from its school that could not withstand the harsh journey upstream. Basculegion fights together with these souls, which attack opponents as if with a will of their own.

The moment this Pokémon senses animosity, it will become enraged and attack relentlessly until the enemy is defeated. This Pokémon gains power from the souls possessing it, letting it swim on and on without tiring.

Wydeer – Evolution of Stantler

Wyrdeer arceus
Wyrdeer: Pokemon Arceus

Wyrdeer is the new evolution from Stantler. Here are some facts about it:

  • Category: Big Horn Pokemon
  • Type: Normal/Psychic
  • Height: 5’11”
  • Weight: 209.7lbs

Here is the official description of the Pokemon:

In the Hisui region, Stantler can evolve into Wyrdeer. This Pokémon has been treasured since long ago by the people of this region, for whom it is indispensable. It grows much larger when it evolves, and garments with the fur shed from its beard, tail, and legs are highly prized for their top-notch protection against the cold.

Using the black orbs at the bases of its antlers, this Pokémon generates and unleashes psychic energy powerful enough to distort space. Wyrdeer searches out safe paths by using its antlers like antennae, running at the head of its herd and leading young Stantler.

Kleavor – Evolution of Scyther

Kleavor: Pokemon Arceus

Kleavor is the new evolution from Scyther (Finally!!!). Here are some facts about it:

  • Category: Axe Pokemon
  • Type: Bug/Rock
  • Height: 5’11”
  • Weight: 196.2lbs

Here is the official description of the Pokemon:

Special minerals found in the Hisui region cause Scyther to evolve into this Pokémon. Parts of its body have hardened into stone. The stone parts often get chipped during fierce battles, and Kleavor that have survived many battles will display larger chipping across their bodies. However, the chipping actually makes these stone parts sharper, increasing their slicing power. It is said that the people of Hisui once used pieces of stone that had fallen from Kleavor to craft tools.

Even a casual swing from one of Kleavor’s large, axe-like arms is capable of delivering a devastating blow, dealing massive damage to the hardiest of opponents. Kleavor uses its arms to carve symbols into tree trunks and even chop trees down to mark its territory. If you come across trees with markings made by a sharp blade or a row of trees cut down in a crisscross pattern, it could be the doing of Kleavor.
