Batman: Arkham Knight is still going strong some months after release. Of course, PC players haven’t had the best of times with the game, but PS4 and Xbox One owners have had little to complain about.
For those aforementioned console owners, there’s a new patch available for Arkham Knight that brings it up to version 1.09. So, what’s in 1.09?
Th main changes this time are all related to the AR challenges. But it’s all good; you’re now able to play through the combat challenges as any character you please with the new character select option. The full list of changes are below.
- New feature: Play as other characters in AR combat challenges.
- New feature: Hard mode for AR combat and Batmobile combat challenges when New Story + is finished.
- Removed AR walls where possible to improve immersion.
- Fixed and reset the leaderboards for the Newton’s Cradle AR challenge – replay to resubmit your previous high score.
- Support for October additional content.
The size of the update is a meaty 5.2GB or so. That’s more hard drive space gone to the wind, then…
Note the last point in particular. There’s to be some new content sometime this month, so if you’re a Season Pass holder you’ll want to keep hold of your disc for a little while longer. That being said, what’s been offered already has been a bit of a disappointment, so you probably won’t be hunted down by the Dark Knight himself if you decide to trade in your copy for one of the holiday’s big releases.
Still enjoying Rocksteady’s gothic adventure, or did you hang up the cape and cowl long ago?
