News: Bioshock Infinite Suffers Another Delay

Highly anticipated shooter Bioshock Infinite is to suffer another delay in its release.

The developer, Irrational Games, have said that the reason for the delay is to allow for more time to make the game the best it can be, this involves polishing and fixing bugs.

Originally set to release the October just gone, but then moved forward to February 2013, Bioshock Infinite is now set to come out on March 26th 2013.

This is going to come as a bitter blow to those who have been eagerly awaiting Bioshock Infinite since it was first confirmed, but at the end of the day, wouldn’t you prefer to buy a game that works properly? Isn’t it a good sign that they are willing to put off-putting it out for an extra month, just so that they can make a better playing experience for the end-user?

Personally, I think it’s a bitter-sweet situation, on one hand we’re going to have to wait for an extra month to get our hands on a game we’ve been waiting ages for, but on the other hand it means we’ll get to play a great game made better by having that little bit of extra work done on it. Something some other developers should take into consideration before releasing games full of bugs and glitches.

Bioshock Infinite is set to release on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Are you disappointed? Or does this extra month of development increase your confidence in the game? Let us know in the comments below.
