The Call of Duty: Black Ops III PS4 beta has been running quite smoothly over the last few days. Every PS4 player who pre-ordered Treyarch’s first next-gen Call of Duty was granted beta access that allows them to play three multiplayer maps online.
If you didn’t pre-order – no problem; you can now access the beta without having to do so. Treyarch has announced on Twitter that all PS4 owners can download the beta client from the PlayStation Store and get stuck in to a few multiplayer matches. Xbox One and PC players will be able to put the third in the Black Ops series through its paces from August 26th up until August 30th.
We’ve given it a few hours of our time this past week and, so far at least, it seems to be jolly good fun – even if death is always an option. You can read our initial impressions of the beta here.
