Can you sell items in Darkest Dungeon 2?
Unfortunately, there’s no way to sell items in Darkest Dungeon 2 currently. You will have to stick with all the items you’ve collected throughout the game.
You can’t store your items either, and you won’t be able to sell them, so that means you’ll have to carry them around with you. So, if you’re carrying a lot and you want to get rid of some of it temporarily or sell it, you’re out of luck.
You can drop your items to get rid of them in order to make room for more, so there is technically a way to clear your inventory. But if you want to get some kind of use out of them while getting rid of them at the same time, there’s currently no available method to do so.
Will there be an update on selling items?
Darkest Dungeon 2 is officially out of early access as of May 2023, but it might still be possible that the developers will add the ability to sell your items in a future update.
It wasn’t added during the early access period, but the game could still receive some kind of update in the future.
However, there’s no confirmation of any updates about selling items in the game. We’ll have to keep waiting and see if the developers add this feature to the game.
Until then, we’re afraid you’ll have to keep carting your items around or dropping them if your inventory gets too packed.
