While you can get your own home in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can also get your own land by completing a quest named Uma’s Garden in the game. This guide will walk you through everything you need to do to complete the quest so that you can grow your own crops and have easier access to crops you need for certain recipes.
How to complete Uma’s Garden in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
In order to complete Uma’s Garden, there are some pre-requisite quests you will have to complete first. These are the Teach Me A Lesson side quests with Symin in Mount Lanayru. There are two side quests with Symin that you will have to complete before you can start Uma’s Garden.
Then, you will be able to progress onwards to Uma’s Garden, which also takes place in Mount Lanayru. You’ll meet an old lady named Uma, and she will offer you the ability to plant some seeds. Select whatever crops from your inventory that you feel are most suited to your needs, and Uma will plant them for you. She gives you a list of crops that she can grow for you, which are the following:
- Tomato
- Endura Carrot
- Pumpkin
- Tabantha Wheat
- Hylian Rice
- Hearty Radish
- Wildberry
- Hydromelon
It’s important to note that if you choose to plant a Hearty Radish or Endura Carrot, it will yield less results than other crops.
Crops take two in-game days to grow which is equal to one hour in real time. Trying to pass the time at an inn or at a fire won’t work, so you will have to be patient. In order for time to pass, you also need to be away from Hateno Village and go elsewhere for it to work.
That’s everything you need to know about how to complete Uma’s Garden in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
