Disney Dreamlight Valley will be launching as an early access title on September 6, but to be able to play it, you’ll need the Disney Dreamlight Valley Founder’s Pack. However, not much is known about what it actually include outside of early access. Here’s what we know so far and what exactly are Founder’s Packs?

Disney Dreamlight Founders Pack Ultimate Edition

The publisher and developer of the Disney life sim game Gameloft has revealed what the Disney Dreamlight Valley Founder’s Pack will include on its official website, and there are three to choose from.

In addition to early access, the Standard Edition includes 8,000 Moonstones (the in-game currency of Disney Dreamlight Valley), two wearable items, nine decoration items, and three design motifs. The decorations are Mickey Mouse-themed and would fit in a modern home.

The Deluxe Edition will give you 14,500 Moonstones, all of the standard edition contents, an adorable Celestial Sea Turtle Animal Companion, seven wearable items, ten decorations, three design motifs, a Mickey Mouse Donut Headband, and a Deluxe Jersey styled after Toy Story‘s Buzz Lightyear.

Lastly, the Ultimate Edition will include 20,000 Moonstones, all of the contents from the standard and deluxe editions, a cute Regal Fox Animal Companion, four wearable items (including a dress and a suit), 15 decoration items, three design motifs, an ultimate jersey with a Cinderella’s Castle design, and another Mickey Mouse Donut Headband.

If you want to wait to play the game for free and do not want to buy a Founder’s Pack, you’ll need to wait until 2023 when the full experience releases.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: What are Founder’s Packs?

Founder’s Packs are a way to incentivize players to play the game early and provide the developer or publisher money to resume development on the project. A recent free-to-play fighting game title MultiVersus offers a Founder’s Pack, which includes character unlocks, exclusive banners for their profile, and Ring Out Effects for when the Warner Bros. heroes get knocked out of the arena.

Of course, the Disney Dreamlight Valley Founder’s Pack will be a different beast entirely as it’s a different genre, but that is an example of what you can expect from this type of early access offering.

Disney Dreamlight Valley will also be available on the Nintendo Switch at the same time as other popular consoles and PC, which is a plus.
