He’ll need Softwood to succeed in his plans, and you’ll need to get it for the tycoon in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Here’s where you can find it.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s main hub, you’ll find plenty of softwood just lying on the ground. Run around the area and focus on looking around the edges of trees and bushes. You’ll see small piles of wood on the ground that look thinly sliced beforehand. Pick them up from the ground, and they will be in your possession. You might be able to find fruit like bananas as well.

To fulfil Scrooge McDuck’s request in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need to find 12 different piles of softwood. Once you know what you’re looking for, it’s a fairly easy task. Once you’ve collected all 12 piles of softwood, go back to Scrooge to finish the mission.

You can make all sorts of objects with softwood after giving Scrooge 12 pieces of the resource. Throughout the world, there are crafting tables all over the place. In fact, there’s one inside Scrooge’s shop to the right of his safe.

When you’re at this location, you can craft tables, chairs, a case, and even a chest to keep your belongings in. You’ll likely find more uses of softwood as you get further into Disney Dreamlight Valley. You may also want to find dream shards.

Hopefully, at some point, we can join our friends and collect as much softwood as possible alongside them in the future. At least Maui would be proud of your hard work in the meantime.
