Authority skin pack brings some free faction-based DLC
Techland has begun what is sure to be many years of support for Dying Light 2 with the first free DLC dropping today on Valentine’s Day. Aw, how lovely? So even if you didn’t get a card from your crush, you’re getting a treat from Techland. That’s my day saved…
The first free DLC is actually a three-parter, with the first part of the free skin pack, Authority, dropping today. The second free DLC skin pack, Ronin, will be coming very soon. So what’s in the Authority skin pack DLC for Dying Light 2?
The skin pack includes the following:
Part 1 (Out now, February 14th)
- Intimidating Jacket
- Intimidating Cargo Pants
- Intimidating High-tops
Part 2 (February 16th)
- Intimidating Gauntlets
- Intimidating Windbreaker
- Intimidating Leather Guards
Part 3 (February 18th)
- Two-handed Authority Hammer
Collecting all three parts of the content drop will reward you with a complete outfit and a new deadly weapon to help enforce the law in The City. Or you can just use it to smash some zombie heads in. Or human heads. Whatever tickles your pickles.
Expect many, many more updates from Techland for Dying Light 2. The developer continued to release free updates for the original Dying Light, right up until a couple of weeks from the release of Dying Light 2: Stay Human, which is almost unheard of.
We’re still working on our review for Dying Light 2 – it’s a beast of a game and I severely underestimated how much time I will need to reach the end. In the meantime, you can check out my early impressions of the game’s first few hours, or watch the video. The video is more fun.
