Dying Light: The Following Gets Its First Community Bounty This Weekend

Techland has announced today that Dying Light: The Following will get its very first Community Bounty this weekend. The event starts on March 19th and runs through until the 20th. Players will have 48 hours to complete the mission in return for a special prize.

The debut Community Bounty will require players to collectively run over 5,000,000 zombies within the 48 hour time limit, and should the Dying Light community reach the goal, everyone who takes part will receive an exclusive Gold Buggy paint job for their in-game vehicle. Nice!

However, if the community doesn’t manage to spill as much blood as is hoped for by the sadistic developers, everyone will still get a little participation prize in the form of a special weapon docket. How sweet, thanks, Techland!

“We’ve also added a little something extra to add to the carnage – explains producer Tymon Smektała. – We’re giving the buggy some extra hitting power during the event, so smashing zombies will be even more fun. Make sure to give it a try!”

If you intend to take part in the zombie massacre you’ll be able to track the community’s progress via the dedicated website which you can find through here.
