Aetherial Dust is one of the rarest items in ESO. As such, it can be quite difficult to find it. Keep reading to learn more about what Aetherial Dust is in ESO and all the locations you can find it to farm it in the game.

What is Aetherial Dust in ESO?
Aetherial Dust in ESO is a rare drop that can be used in the Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia drink. This drink will provide you with 150% XP for 30 minutes. To make it you need to combine Aetherial Dust with Psijic Ambrosia, but you will need another rare item called an Aetheric Cipher to do so.
If you find any Aetherial Dust you should think carefully about what you want to do with it – it’s one of the hardest things to obtain in the game, and doesn’t come around very often.
You can use it for crafting, but if you aren’t that interested in the crafting side of things you can sell it for a large profit. It’s worth upwards of 200,000 gold so it’s quite the pricey item.

Where can you get Aetherial Dust in ESO?
Aetherial Dust can be found in all the base game zones in ESO. However, it’s an extremely rare drop and can’t really be reliably farmed like other items. The amount you get will be based entirely on how lucky you are while playing.
You can find it in the following base game zones: Alik’r Desert, Auridon, Bal Foyen, Bangkorai, Betnikh, Bleakrock Isle, Coldharbour, Cyrodiil, Deshaan, Eastmarch, Glenumbra, Grahtwood, Greenshade, Knenarthi’s Roost, Malabal Tor, Reaper’s March, The Rift, Rivenspire, Shadowfen, Stonefalls, Stromhaven and Stros M’Kai.
Due to its wide availability and rare drop chance, there is no singular way to farm Aetherial Dust. If you really want to farm it you can pick any area of your choosing and play until it shows up, but it is very unlikely you will be able to find it easily. Some players haven’t found any after years of playing the game!
Your best bet is to play naturally and wait for it to eventually show up. It can drop from any of the locations above at any time, but don’t hold your breath.
