Honey Beast is a giant mutated bee-like creature in Fallout 76 that you must know the location of if you want to complete daily, weekly, and other such challenges to get Atoms for free or to grind score for leveling the Scoreboard battle pass.
But since the game doesn’t exactly tell you where to find Honey Beasts in Appalachia, players either reroll the challenge or wander the wasteland to find Honey Beasts in Fallout 76’s vast open world.
To help you out, we have prepared this handy guide on where to find Honey Beasts in Fallout 76 while talking about some regular and seasonal events that feature Honey Beasts as mobs.
Where to find Honey Beast in Fallout 76
You can find Honey Beasts in the cave northeast of Freddy’s Fear House of Scares. It is one of the best locations where Honey Beast spawns most of the time, along with other mobs like Bloatfly.
Honey Beast spawn location near Seneca Rocks Visitor Center
Apart from that, Honey Beasts also spawn near the Red Rocket diner located near the Seneca Rocks Visitor Center. It is the second-best location to find rare creatures like Honey Beast, Yao Guai, and others.
If you haven’t visited Seneca Rocks Visitor Center yet or don’t know where to find it, check out the above map screenshot for reference.
Honey Beast spawn location near Treetops
The Treetops is another key location where Honey Beasts and other rare creatures spawn. Thankfully, the spawn is right at the Treetops, so you can directly teleport there without wandering around looking for Honey Beasts.
Honey Beast spawn location at Middle Mountain Cabins
The Middle Mountain Cabins is yet another location where Honey Beasts spawn. They usually are found in the middle area or hanging from the outer walls of the cabins.
During the early Fallout 76 days, it was one of the best locations to find Honey Beasts, but now the RNG is terrible. You may have to server-hop a lot to spawn Honey Beasts at the Middle Mountain Cabins.
Otherwise, you will usually find around three Yao Guai. This is okay, considering you need Yao Guai to complete a variety of challenges.
Honey Beast spawn location at Whitespring Resort
Honey Beasts also spawn in the area between The Whitespring Resort and The Whitespring Golf Club. We have marked the spawn area in the above map screenshot to narrow your search.
Honey Beasts spawn during events
There is a myriad of normal and seasonal events in which Honey Beasts spawn. Here are some that we know about:
- Irrational Fear
- Project Paradise
- A Real Blast
- Scorched Earth [You must launch a nuke at the Fissure Site Prime to trigger the event whenever you want.]
- Dogwood Die Off [Honey Beast spawn at Graninger farm]
- Meat Week [6+ Honey Beast spawn during Meat Week seasonal event.]
- Primal Cuts [6+ Honey Beast spawn during Primal Cuts seasonal event.]
- Fasnacht Day [2+ Honey Beast spawn during Fasnacht Day seasonal event.]
Those are all the locations where you can find Honey Beast in Fallout 76. Remember, if you have a bad RNG or someone else from the server has already killed the Honey Beast at the mentioned locations, you can “Exit to Main Menu” and jump into the game again to server hop.
