The next-generation of games consoles have brought some wonderful sights; from the dazzling cities in Watch Dogs and inFamous: Second Son to the rip-roar of the roads in Forza Horizon 2 and DriveClub. Even Call of Duty: Ghosts impressed us with some pretty visuals whilst Battlefield 4 and Killzone: Shadowfall went all out on photo-realism.

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception (£8.63 via Amazon)

Naughty Dog pushed the boat out and wowed the gaming world with the first of Nathan Drakes adventure, but it’s the third installment in the PlayStation exclusive franchise that really stands out. To think they managed to get those kind of graphics from a machine that was five years old at the time is mind-boggling.
Beyond: Two Souls
PS3, 2013 (£13.99 via Amazon)
Yeah it might have lacked in the actual gameplay department, but damn it looked good. Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe were truly brought to life by Quantic Dreams” vision. Just a shame the game didn’t perform better…
