Your ever-fabulous glam has caught Marabel’s eye, as she thinks you are the perfect adventurer to help her creations win the Little Ladies’ walk-off!
Please note that you must be at least level 15 to participate in this event, and this guide contains spoilers for FF14’s Little Ladies’ Day event.
Where to start
The quest chain starts in Ul’dah, where you can find Marabel standing to the left of Sun Silk Tapestries clothier (X 10.1, Y 8.7). She will have a quest for you – Fashion Face-off! You find out that Marabel is an accessory artisan struggling to win the walk-off. Still, she’s hoping you will help be a catalyst for change in her losing streak. To figure out what vibe to go for, Marabel asks you to survey some citizens of Ul’dah to get their impressions of the holiday.
The first pair of citizens are outside of the Adventurer’s Guild. It’s faster to walk the few paces east than teleport, so head over to the Steps of Nald to find an Unoccupied Citizen (X 11.7, Y 8.2) and a Jolly Citizen (X 12.7, Y 8.7). After they share their thoughts on the holiday with you, head over to the Aetheryte Shard (X 12.5, Y 8.9) and teleport to the Sapphire Avenue Exchange to find the second pair of citizens. Talk to a Distressed Citizen (X 14.0, Y 10.4) and a Muscular Citizen (X 14.0, Y 11.9). After you speak with them, it’s time to report back to Marabel! Walk back to the Sapphire Ave Aetheryte and teleport to the Goldsmiths Guild, where you will find her standing in front of Estaime’s Aesthetics (X 10.2, Y 12.4).
You can do it, dahling!
After a cutscene, you and Marabel conclude that the citizens of Ul’dah are looking for fashionable yet affordable ensembles. And with that Marabel is off to work! Wait for her to return by interacting with the sparkling destination, which should be right where you found Marabel. When she returns, she informs you that you will be the one participating in the walk-off, which catches you off-guard, but you accept. You can head over to the Aeytheryte again (X 10.8, Y 12.6) to teleport over to the Adventurer’s Guild.
Head west over to Marabel, standing next to the seasonal stage (X 10.6, Y 8.1); this will trigger another cutscene. Now is the time to strut your stuff in the walk-off before the judges! After some deliberation, the judges conclude that you and Marabel win the walk-off! Marabel is overcome with joy, knowing that her hard work paid off. You did it, dahling!
Rewards & Extras
Speak with Marabel one last time to claim your prize – a Little Ladies’ Crown glamour item. Upon completing the quest and receiving your loot, you can speak with Marabel again to participate in a repeatable quest called A stylish Transformation, which will reward you with some cherry and peach confetti. You can also purchase some confetti items from the Royal Handmaiden (X 10.4, Y 8.6) for 10 Gil each. Keep in mind this quest is only repeatable until March 31st.
The Little Ladies’ Day seasonal event is now until March 31st, so don’t miss out on some exclusive loot! You can also snag some other hard to get items via the Moogle Treasure trove event, which is taking place until the launch of patch 6.1!
