Final Fantasy XV will release sometime in 2016, according to the game’s director Hajime Tabata at this year’s PAX Prime trade show which is taking place in the city of Seattle.
There’s more, too. We’ll be hearing a lot more about Final Fantasy XV in March 2016 during a special event that will take place, though the exact details on where or when are scant, though we can expect to get a firmer hold on when the long-awaited game will finally release.
Final fantasy has been ten years in the making after development originally started in 2006. However, multiple delays have made the game something of a joke among Final fantasy fans. Hopefully the joke ends next year.
During this year’s Gamescom, Tabata was a little wary of how he worded his answers relating to Final Fantasy XV’s release date, so it seems he’s taken this opportunity to clear out any confusion. Still, we’ll believe it when we’ve got our review copy sat in front of us. You hear, Square Enix?
