Genshin Impact continues to be a huge staple of mobile gaming, but also has a large playerbase using PC. The free to play structure of the game is appealing to many who want to try out new games without the risk of financial investment before knowing if they will like it.
Some players have been reporting that the launcher window is bigger than their screen and so some parts of the screen get cut off. As an example, some people start the game and before they can even choose if they want to play as the female or male character, there is not choice button to continue. This is due to the game screen being too large compared to your monitor.
Can’t Pick Character Genshin Impact Start Screen
The Genshin Impact settings are likely the culprit here, having larger settings than your display settings for your computer. The other possibility is that the game’s DPI scaling is off. You can fix both of these issues.
The first thing you should note is that Genshin Impact does not support ultra-wide very well, especially the 49 inch montiors. A quick and easy way to get past the starting screen is to make another monitor your primary monitor, then launch the game and get passed whatever part was not working for you.
