Get up to 67% off With This Week’s Xbox One and Xbox 360 Deals

Who doesn’t love a bargain? The folks at Microsoft sure don’t mind helping sway opinions on the matter: they’ve just updated the deals available to Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners.

There’s a fair bit on offer, too, truly something for everyone as it’s a varied bunch of games. However, be sure to avoid Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor on the Xbox 360, because even with a hefty discount it’s just not worth it and you’ll be much happier with yourself in getting the Xbox One edition. Trust us. Believe. (Read the review here.)

So, what’s in this latest round of Xbox One deals? Lots, and lots, and lots. Family friendly superhero adventure LEGO: Marvel Superheroes is being offered with a generous discount applied while the not-so-family-friendly shoot-em-up Blue Estate is cheap as chips.

If it’s open-world slaying you’re looking for then Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor won’t do you any harm on the Xbox One and Techland’s Dying Light will probably scare you senseless after your first couple of hours, but hang in there and you’ll have a whale of a time.

There’s a whole host of LEGO games being discounted on Xbox One as well as content for Forza Horizon 2 (read our review), Toy Soldiers: Warchest, Mortal Kombat and the retro-tastically fantastic Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition.

Xbox 360 owners are being offered a whole other bunch of stuff, most of it pretty darn good, too.

Leading the charge is Rocksteady’s Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and the Warner Bros. Montreal Arkham Origins, all of which are being sold with a 40-50% discount.

In an effort to tempt you away from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, EA’s Skate series is going through a round of promotional discounts which include the full games as well as add-on content being slung every which way for cheap.

There’s the usual LEGO culprits and a few other sports titles being offered, but you’re probably best off having a look through here to get the full list of discounts.

Anything taking your fancy, or is it a dud week for you? Let us know down in the comments section below. Also, please, don’t forget to NOT pick up Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor on the 360. Please, we only want to look after you. Now fly, you fools.
