There’s a new racing wheel coming to the PS4 and PS3 according to Amazon, and it is coming from veteran peripheral maker Logitech.
Amazon Germany has listed the Logitech G29 as being available for both the PS4 and PS3, but hold on to your horses a moment – it’s bloody expensive.
The listing puts the price at just under 400 euros – equivalent to around $451. Damn that’s pricey, but it’s more or less in line with the top-end Thrustmaster for the PS4 while goes for $399 on Amazon.com, though there’s always the much more affordable lower-end Thrustmaster for $89.99.
It’s a little shocking to see peripherals going for more than the actual console itself, but hardcore racing enthusiasts will pay whatever the cost for the ultimate racing experience.
It’s interesting to see the Logitech G29 being listed around this time actually as Logitech traditionally supply the official racing wheels for the Gran Turismo series. Could a Gran Turismo 7 announcement be incoming? Well, E3 is just around the corner and it’d certainly be the place to make such an announcement.
