Guerilla Games is (hopefully) making big progress with its brand new intellectual property Horizon: Zero Dawn. The studio recently showed off the futuristic open-world adventure in Tokyo to rapturous applause, so it’s fair to say that the game is highly anticipated.
We’re not entirely sure how far along Guerrilla is in terms of the game’s development, but we do know that some new blood has been injected into the studio by way of Bernd Diemer.
Who is Bernd Diemer? Well, he’s the guy who worked on Dead Island 2 as the game’s Game Director. There’s no word on what he’ll be doing at Guerrilla, but it’s an interesting hire nonetheless.
Dead Island 2 was recently delayed into next year with development being shifted from German development outfit Yager to another studio, though the identity of the new studio isn’t public knowledge.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is due out sometime in 2016 for the PlayStation 4, but there’s no confirmed date as of yet.
