How to get Autobuild in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
To get the Autobuild ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you must complete the main quest, A Mystery in the Depths, which is a part of the big questline associated with the NPCs Robbie and Josha.
To unlock the said quest, you must progress the Camera Work in the Depths quest, which you can start right after reaching Lookout Landing and progressing through the main story until you unlock the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower.

Starting Camera Work in the Depths to unlock A Mystery in the Depths
Once that is done, you can go to the above-shared location and interact with Robbie to start the Camera Work in the Depths quest.
Afterwards, head to the Hyrule Field Chasm and delve into its depths. From this point, progress Camera Work in the Depths and you will eventually unlock the A Mystery in the Depths quest. In this, where you must follow the direction the mysterious statues found within are pointing to reach an ancient temple-like structure where you meet a Steward Construct with whom you can interact to unlock the Autobuild ability.
Getting Autobuild without completing any quests
Alternatively, f you just want the Autobuild ability and don’t want complete any quests, go to the Hyrule Field Chasm and make your way to the following coordinates -0780, -1885, -0522. It will lead you to the temple’s location, where you can acquire Autobuild.
How to save vehicle schematics in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Saving your vehicle schematics in the game is more straightforward than acquiring the Autobuild ability itself. All you must do is build a vehicle, and its schematics will autosave in your Autobuild history. From there, you can mark some specific ones as favourites.
