If you are playing Harvestella, the Rune Factory-like life simulation role-playing game from developers Live Wire and Square Enix, you must know how to save in Harvestella. Because despite saying that the game has an Autosave feature, you must use manual steps to trigger it, which makes no sense, but it is what it is. How To Save In Harvestella
In Harvestella, you can save game progress by sleeping on your bed inside your house in the Bird’s Eye Brae area. When interacting with your bed, you will have two dialogue options: “Sleep” and “Never Mind.” You can select the first option, Sleep, to conclude the day, and get paid Grilla for the items you kept in the shipping container while autosaving your game.
Alternatively, when players reach the Higan Canyon in Chapter 2, they will learn about the Motus Monolite status found around the game map. You can use it for fast travel between locations and manually save the game in one of the save slots.
But keep this in mind, you must either sleep or save the game manually to keep your progress. If you close the game without doing the said actions, you will lose your progress, and we have verified it ourselves. We completed the quest where we got introduced to the Jobs and Skills system for the first time, explored the Bird’s Eye Brae and nearby area, and forcefully closed the game. Next, we found the progress was lost, and we had to go through the tutorial quest again.
Moreover, when you open the game after ending a session, clicking on the Continue option will take you to the point when you last slept and did an Autosave. If you want to load a Manual Save, you must use the Load option in the game’s main menu.
