The Satori in Zelda
Otherwise known as the Lord of the Mountain, this mythical, ice-blue stag can be summoned at any of the eight cherry blossom trees in Hyrule.
This guide will run you through how to summon Satori, and why doing so can help you on your journey.
Don’t forget to visit the Usazum Shrine and receive Rauru’s Blessing on your way!

Finding Satori in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
To find Satori, you need to head to the cherry blossom tree in the region.
At the base of the tree rests an empty bowl. Place a fruity offering (not Link, I mean an actual apple) in all the bowls you can see, and Satori will appear.
If you’ve got no apples to hand, you can still summon Satori. Though you should really pick a few from a nearby orchard. We’ve tested out a few variants of fruit – here’s what works.
- Apples
- Golden Apples
- Splash Fruit
- Endura Carrot
- Dazzle Fruit
- Fire Fruit
Don’t forget to pick your fruit back up once you’ve summoned Satori! Those apples can come in clutch during a fight.
Why bother seeking Satori out in Zelda: TOTK?
As thanks for your offering, Satori will mark the entrances to caves in the region with blue beams of light. This is great if you’re hunting down Bubbulfrogs and their Bubbul Gems as it makes it clear where you need to go.
Note: Only the caves in that specific region will light up. It will light up all entrances, regardless of whether you’ve been to them already.
You can trade in Bubbul Gems for helpful rewards such as armour and materials. We’ve got an in-depth guide that tells you everything you need to know about Bubbul Gems here.
- Prefer to get around using your paraglider? Here’s how to customise the fabric.
