Is Pokemon Scarlet And Violet Multiplayer?

If you’re reading this, you will want to know, is Pokemon Scarlet and Violet multiplayer? Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the latest entry in the legendary Pokémon franchise, and along with the brand-new region of Paldea and Pokémon that will be joining the fray, there is set to be cooperative multiplayer for the first time in the series history. If you want to understand how the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet coop is set to work, we’ve got you covered.

Is Pokemon Scarlet And Violet Multiplayer?

While previous titles have allowed players to trade Pokemon between themselves, which is often the only way to get all the Pokemon from a specific version, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is set to have multiplayer functionality. While we don’t know all the details about the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet coop feature so far, we do know that it will allow up to four players to group up together and explore the new region of Paldea.

Coop can be initiated by travelling to the Union Circle location in the main town, where you can invite three players to join your session. We don’t know if this is exclusive to the friends you have on the Switch platform, or if you can matchmake too. Once everyone has joined your session, you can then head off to explore, catch Pokémon, and battle to your heart’s content.

One of the key features we know of in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet coop are the Raid Battles, which seem like they will be similar to the type of raid content often found in MMOs, but with a Pokémon twist. We don’t have all the details about this and the other multiplayer features, but we’ll update this article with any new information.

That’s all we know so far about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet multiplayer, and now you know you’ll be able to join up with three friends and explore the world.
