Does Shadow Appear In Sonic Frontiers?
The edgier hedgehog Shadow actually does not make an appearance in Sonic Frontiers. It’s quite a shock as he’s appeared in most mainline Sonic games in the past, but Sonic Frontiers does a great job of working in character development for the hedgehog’s main friends Amy, Knuckles, and lastly Tails. They’re written as more well-rounded characters and are developed further as to what their goals are and what their relationship to Sonic is after all these adventures.
Shadow, however, is not a part of the story at all in Sonic Frontiers, although he would certainly be useful during the events of the game. For example, in the Sonic X anime, both Sonic and Shadow transform into their super versions to save the day from a space colony. They also worked together in Sonic Adventure 2 during the last boss.
