Just Cause 3 Is Absolutely Mental, Watch an Hour of Gameplay Footage and See for Yourself

Bonkers is in Just Cause’s DNA, that’s something we’ve known ever since we first took Rico out for a ride on the last-gen systems (yours truly actually first got a taste of Just Cause on PS2) and it’s still true today.

This year’s PAX Aus has played host to a few big-name developers over the last couple of days, one of them just so happens to be working on Just Cause 3 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Avalanche Studios’ open-world chaos simulator got a good showing at PAX Aus with the developers showing off almost an hour’s worth of gameplay footage along with some in-depth commentary by the team. There was also some foe-flinging…

Yeah, the developers are just boys with toys really. We got to see Rico chuck an enemy 800-odd meters; we saw Rico throw (or at least attempt to) a dictator’s statue’s head and we saw Rico blow shit up, including innocent civilians. Freedom! Freedom? Freedom…

There’s a good 50-odd minutes of footage down below and it’s actually an entertaining watch. We’re usually the kind who snooze when we observe others playing games, but this one is going on all-new exception list. It’ll probably the only one…

Just Cause 3 is out on December 1st for PS4, Xbox One and PC. We’ll be posting our review around that time, too, so be sure to keep an eye out for that one.

You can pre-order Just Cause 3 from Amazon.
