How many Korok Seeds are there in Tears of the Kingdom?
In total, there are 1000 Korok Seeds in the game, which is a jump of 100 from the amount of Korok Seeds in Breath of the Wild.
It is worth finding the Korok Seeds in Tears of the Kingdom, as Hestu will reward you for giving him the Korok Seeds over time. He bounces around three different areas specifically and will rotate between them.
The first location you will find him in is Lindor’s Brow. The coordinates for this are -1717, 1070, 0204. However, if you’ve already completed a Temple, then his first location will be at Lookout Landing.
The coordinates for Lookout Landing are -0227, 0060, 0018. This will unlock a side adventure with Hestu. Once you have completed this, you can trade a Korok seed with him to upgrade your inventory.
The third location is in Korok Forest. You won’t be able to access this until you have cleared all of the Gloom, though. The coordinates are 0412, 2124, 0143.

Whilst there are a whopping 1000 Korok Seeds in Tears of the Kingdom, you only need 440 to fully upgrade your inventory. If you give Hestu all 1000 seeds, you’ll be granted the gift of friendship, which essentially entails him dancing for you at any given time you like. Disappointing, right?
