Last of the Witcher 3 Free DLC Announced

In an announcement yesterday CD Projekt Red has informed us of the last piece of the highly lauded free DLC for The Witcher 3.

The newest DLC will be the a highly requested “New Game +” mode. Now stalwarts of Kaher Morhen can hopefully venture out into the world wielding all of their powers and equipment gathered thus far.

This adds a great level of depth to the game as it calls for more than one playthrough. The hinderance in the past has been that players would lose all that progress and loot and be left in the endgame with entertaining but at a relatively low level compared to how high the game allows Geralt to level.

Considering CD Projekt Red is still working on this DLC we assume that the reason this wasn’t in the original release was due to deadlines and balancing issues. Still it is a great feature to have now and justifies their leveling system in the game relative to the story and the world around it.

We at Games Cabin are looking forward to an NG+ run of Witcher 3! Are you going to do the same or are you focused the big DLC announcements to come? Let us know in the comments.
