We all saw it coming, but it has been announced that LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be force pushing itself on to just about every console that’s still relevant. Yes, even the PS Vita will get a port of sorts.
The game will take place within the events of the movie, as well as taking some liberties by filling in some of the events between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, though we suspect Disney and Lucas Arts’ continuity teams will be heavily involved in the story telling.
As expected, you’ll be able to play as most characters from the new movies, fly some wicked cool space ships and, obviously, smash LEGO stuff to pieces.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will release on June 28th for the Xbox One, PS4, PC, Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, and the Nintendo 3DS. PS4 players will bag a bit of exclusive content in the form of the Droid Character pack and the Phantom Limb pack, too.
Now, for your first look at Riley and friends in LEGO form in the newly released trailer.
