We’re all big fans of discounts here at The Games Cabin, and we rarely scoff at any sort of price reduction, but on this occasion we cant help but feel a little bit let down by Sony’s discounting methods with the latest round of PSN discounts in the UK and Europe.
Granted, there are a few eye-catching deals like Saints Row IV: Re-Elected on PS4, as well as its expansion for both the PS3 and PS4, but the vast majority are just, well, pointless.
Saints Row IV: Re-Elected has seen a decent discount which brings it down to £15.99, but then we see many titles with just pennies being shaved off their price tags with discounts as low as 1%.
We get that every little helps but – without sounding too much like a moaning Mary – these discounts are poor to say the least. In hindsight, the 12 Deals of Christmas doesn’t look so bad now, does it?
Still, at least there are a few decent discounts with the Final Fantasy series and NBA 2K14, not to mention Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate as the ‘Deal of the Week’ offering.
