What is the Spotlight Cache in Marvel Snap?
The Marvel Snap Spotlight Cache is a new feature that changes how players can acquire cards. Once you reach Collection Level 500 it can replace Collector’s Caches and Collector’s Reserves in the game.
These Caches offer a guaranteed featured card or a random Series 4 or 5 card each time you open one. There’s a 25% chance to pull any specific card from the Spotlight Cache, and a 25% chance for the random card to show up.
After pulling one of the cards, it will disappear from the Cache and leave you with the other options at an increased chance. Once you’ve opened all 4 of your Spotlight Caches they’ll be replaced with Spotlight Variants, allowing you to open more. Essentially, you’re guaranteed to get everything currently in the Spotlight Cache rotation if you open 4 of them.
The Spotlight Cache will reset each week, so claiming all of your Caches each week is a good way to get these guaranteed cards and build your collection further. If you’re not that dedicated, saving for the weeks with the cards you want most is the best approach.
