Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be getting the beta test treatment before it jumps onto store shelves in May. The good news is that anybody can register for the beta, but you’re not exactly guaranteed access, so it’s best to enter with low expectations.
There’s no word on what the beta will include or why it’s being run. As far as we’re aware, there’s no online multiplayer to Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, but there will be leaderboards and the like, so it’s probably to give their functions are thorough dummy run before release day.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst releases on May 24th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via EA’s Origin service. Let’s hope there aren’t any nasty slips that cause even further delays, eh?
