News: Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation Take The Writers Guild Award For Video Game Writing

liberation3-1After last weeks revelation that Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation has sold over half a million copies, the studio behind the hot hand held title have now taken home an award from the Writers Guild of America.

Awarded with the Outstanding Achievement in Video Game Writing crown, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation managed to beat of the like of Halo 4, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Assassin’s Creed III and more to take home to crown.

Ouch, that must hurt the guys who made Assassin’s Creed III, I bet they never expected the hand held “baby brother” version to pip them at the awards. Still, it’s an award well deserved for the team at Ubisoft Sofia, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation‘s strength really does lie in it’s story, albeit a somewhat confusing but thoroughly enjoyable affair, so well done!
