Assassin’s Creed: Unity is just around the corner and despite all the negativity due to the console-parity, we’re still rather looking forward to donning the Assassin robes against and taking the fight to the streets of a beautifully re-created Paris.
One feature that has me personally excited is the co-op feature which allows your friends to drop in and out of your game to complete set missions together. Co-op gameplay is a feature that we’ve all wanted since the original Assassin’s Creed came out all those years ago and apparently Ubisoft is more than aware of what the players want.
One of the producers of Assassin’s Creed: Unity took some time to speak with Evetech TV and revealed that co-op gameplay has been “the most fan requested feature” that the firm has received from its player base.
It comes as no surprise really, what with the last-gen consoles making online multiplayer the norm. Previous Assassin’s Creed games did feature multiplayer with some co-op, but they were all competitive game modes. Assassin’s Creed: Unity will allow players to play together in the full world that the game presents, a first in the series.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity releases on November 11th in North America and November 13th in the UK and Europe and will be available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
