Assassin’s Creed: Unity developer, Ubisoft Montreal, aren’t working on this year’s Assassin’s Creed: Victory, instead that falls to Ubisoft Quebec. So what are Ubisoft Montreal up to?
Well, according to Ubisoft’s Alex Hutchinson, Ubisoft Montreal are working on something a little bit different.
In a recent interview with the fine chaps over at The Way Faring Dreamer, the approachable director hinted that Ubisoft Montreal may be working a new IP.
Speaking in the interview Hutchinson stated that Ubisoft Montreal are “working on some rad new stuff, trying some crazy things that [they] hope to announce at some point in 2015!”
Crazy things? Rad new stuff? Could this be another IP from Ubisoft? Possibly, but until they decide to share some more information we can just continue to sit here in the dark. Watch Dogs 2 would be dandy though, maybe even a crossover between the aforementioned property and Ubisoft’s yearly bread – Assassin’s Creed.
Lets just hope that whatever it is, it doesn’t suffer from the same fate as Assassin’s Creed: Unity….
What do you think Ubisoft could be working on? A new IP? Some form of crossover between franchises? Shout all about it down in the comments section below.
