Ever since The Last of Us was released, fans have been asking whether the post-apocalyptic thriller will be ported over to the PS4. It’s a fair question, the game looks fantastic and would be well received on the next-gen console, though it seems it’s not to be.
Eric Monacelli of Naughty Dog recently stated that there’s “no plans” to extend The Last of Us’ reach with the PS4. Though there are no plans to touch up and re-release the title on the PS4, it doesn’t mean it’s never going to happen, just that the team currently hasn’t got any plans in the pipeline, hopefully because they’re hard at work on Uncharted 4. The Last of Us released earlier this year, exclusively to the PlayStation 3 and received critical acclaim, scoring 9’s and 10’s across the board and pleasing fans to no end.
