DriveClub hasn’t gotten off to the best of starts; ever since the starting pistol fired there’s been problems, but it’s all shaping up for Evolution Studios and their new game.
A tweet from the official DriveClub Twitter account confirms that you’ll never pay for tracks as DLC as they will be added to the game for free. You’ll still have to stump up the cash for new cars and such, but free tracks are pretty damn good in my book.
@itz_ryan_mC All of the tracks we add to #DRIVECLUB will be free

As most DriveClub players will know by now, the servers for the game are a little finicky, which Evolution is claiming to be the reason for the delay of DriveClub PS Plus Edition. Well, good news, they’re working hard on getting the servers sorted out and everyone should see some improvements by Friday and over the weekend.
@Chrome804 We’re testing a server update now, we’ll know more when we get the results. Expect improvements before & over the weekend — DRIVECLUB (@DRIVECLUB) October 9, 2014
For players in the UK there’s some good news, if you pre-ordered your copy from the PSN then you’ll still be able to download it on it’s day of release.
For those in the UK if you have purchased either the Full Digital Edition or the PS+ Upgrade of DRIVECLUB it will be available tomorrow.

There’s still no word on a release date for the DriveClub PS Plus Edition, but we’ll keep you updated if we hear anything.
