Far Cry 4 has a lot going for it, not only in the huge single-player world but also the multiplayer aspect.
Whilst the campaign is good fun, getting your swerve on with a mate provides a lot more enjoyment. However, we’re still not able to co-op with a buddy in user-generated maps, but rest assured it’s on the way.
Answering a fan on Twitter, Far Cry 4’s Creative Director noted that there are a ton of fixes coming in the next update, including but not limited to player created maps and the ability to co-op inside them.
The bad news is that the patch isn’t going to be pushed out in time. Originally set to go live at the end of this week, Hutchinson mentioned that the patch team engineers reckon it’ll be a little later than expected, but it’s coming “soon.”
We thoroughly enjoyed our little romp through Kyrat, but the lack of co-op with user-made maps is a real downer, something that should have really been ready from the word go.
