The eagerly awaited Forza Horizon 2 will be getting a demo released on the Xbox One in the next few weeks as Microsoft has announced that the playable demo will be releasing in September.
Forza Horizon 2 has previously been shown off at E3 2014, PAX and Gamescom, but obviously not everybody can make it to these events, as Microsoft has acknowledged in their announcement of the Forza Horizon 2 demo.
“If you haven’t been lucky enough to be at E3, Gamescom, PAX, or any of the other shows where Forza Horizon 2 has made an appearance, September 16 will be your day to finally get hands-on with the latest open-world action racing game from Playground Games.”
This comes two whole weeks before the eventual release of the open-world racer which will hit shop shelves on September 30th.
With playable demos for AAA games becoming something of a rarity, it’s good to know you’ll have the chance to try before you buy with the Xbox One’s premier racing series.
Will you be downloading the demo come September 16th? Or are racing games not your bag?
Forza Horizon 2 will be launching on the Xbox One on September 30th, alongside the Sumo Digital developed version for the Xbox 360.
