Good news for PS Vita owners who will be shelling out the £349/$399 for the PS4; you’ll be able to enjoy your PS4 games on the PS Vita from the go, as confirmed by the guys behind Killzone: Shadow Fall.
Guerrila Games’ Herman Hulst has provided some info on what to expect with the heavily pushed Remote Play feature that will be present with the PS4 and PS Vita.
“Basically everything that’s available at launch we will make available, PlayGo is a big one right, so you download a level and you start playing so we’ll support that, Remote Play, you can play it on the Vita, you’ll do that…”
So there you have it. Remote Play between the PS3 and PS Vita was a big selling point for the latter, though it’s pretty much a dead concept with the PS3, so it’s good to see it’s getting a new birth with the PS4. Missus want to watch her programmes but you want to play some Killzone: Shadow Fall, DriveClub or maybe some inFamous: Second Son? Not a problem, just switch it to remote play and carry on blasting bad guys, racing with friends, tearing up Seattle. Maybe get a pair of decent headphones to block out the other half’s terrible television show…
