Big news for Mirror’s Edge fans, there’s the possibility that Amazon Germany has accidentally outed the much-anticipated Mirror’s Edge 2.
The listing appeared on Amazon Germany for a short while before being removed. Mirror’s Edge 2 was listed for the Xbox 360 with the outrageous price of…€99.99
This could well have been a mistake on two counts by Amazon. They may have been informed that the title will be revealed during this years E3, but they went ahead and jumped the gun and plastered on a big price just to be safe, or it was just an accidental listing due to human error.
Personally, I’m cautiously optimistic. Mirror’s Edge was a breath of fresh air when it launched on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The idea that a game could be played in the first person without having to shoot a gun every five seconds is what I found thrilling, as did many others. Now we’re ready to jump back in to the free-running world, so come on EA, give us an answer!
We’ve sent an email to EA asking if they can give any information, but we’re not in their good books at the moment so we’re not holding our breath on a lengthy reply…
