Don’t want your credit card details stored with Playstation? Not a problem.
Sony has added the option to pay for your purchases using Paypal instead of your credit/debit card.
There is just one problem, you can’t do it through the PS Store, it has to be done on the Sony Entertainment Network website. It’s easy enough to do and in fact should be possible to do through the Playstation 3’s own inbuilt internet browser, even though it’s a bit on the slow side, it saves you lumping over to your PC to buy your goodies.
There is a possibility that Paypal will be integrated with the Playstation Store in the future, so it’s definitely not bad and it’s better than nothing.
Personally, I can’t stand Paypal, but that is a completely different story, but anybody who has had dealings with the dark side of Paypal will understand, but for those of you who want to use Paypal, the option is there.
