It’s now a well-known fact that GTA V is coming, what with the various promo leaks before the official announcement, and then the massive blowout of information earlier this month.
The problem some people have is that only the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are being mentioned, leading many to suspect that GTA V won’t be released on the PC platform at all.
This fear is what has lead over 40,000 players and fans to sign an online petition, addressed to Rockstar games, asking that they release GTA V on the PC. The petition reads:
To: Rockstar Games,
Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many peoples lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.
Rockstar have previously stated that a PC version, along with a Wii U port is currently in consideration, but that their primary focus is on the two biggest players in the console market, the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360.
