Rainbow Six Siege was first shown off at E3, but since then we’ve not heard much about the game, other than it’s coming out next year on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
However, now we know a little bit more about the game, with thanks to the twitter postings made by team behind the upcoming next-gen shooter.
According to the official Rainbow Six Siege Community Team Twitter account, one of the main priorities for the upcoming tactical-shooter is to take the game back to its roots.
@Rainbow6Game@missharvey R6 Raven Shield was an awesome game. Really looking forward to this.

Not only that, but much to the satisfaction of those who care about frames-per-second in their games, Rainbow Six Siege will run at a pleasant 60 fps on the PS4, Xbox One and PC, something that most fans of first-person shooters will be more than happy to hear as it means ultra smooth gameplay.
@MediaReviewDE @Ubisoft The game will play at 60 fps on all platforms

Rainbow Six Siege is seen as the phoenix rising from the ashes of the ill fated Rainbow Six: Patriots which was cancelled some way into development. Rainbow Six Siege is set to release next year on the PS4, Xbox One and PC, though a specific release window hasn’t been given at this time.
