News: Sonic: Lost World Coming To Wii U & 3DS, Nintendo Exclusive

Sonic: Lost WorldSonic: Lost World has been announced for the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS systems, and will remain a Nintendo exclusive.

The announcement comes from the Nintendo Direct Broadcast where Nintendo President Saturo Iwata revealed that Sonic: Lost World would be coming to Nintendo’s games consoles.

At the moment there’s little news on what the game actually is, other than that it’s an action platformer, but more details will be shown off during E3 in June, maybe even some gameplay footage will feature.

These day’s it’s not uncommon for SEGA to produce Sonic games for multiple platforms, but it’s strange to think that just 15 years ago SEGA and Nintendo were, for want of a better word, enemies. Actually, just thought of a better world; business rivals. Now they’re producing a Sonic game exclusively for Nintendo. Crazy times… Crazy times…
