The upcoming third-person action/adventure title from Middle Eastern developer Semaphore, Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta will be coming to the PS Vita.
We recently spoke to Ahmad Jadhalla, the writer/director of Unearthed (read the interview here), and when asked whether the episodic content will be making a wave on the PS Vita Ahmad replied:
“Yes, maybe not immediately but it is in the pipeline. Also, there is one other super exciting platform which we will announce soon .”
We’ve no idea when Unearthed will be deploying on the Vita, but I personally reckon we’ll be joining in with Faris Jawad in some adventures this side of Christmas, hopefully.
It’s great to see a Middle Eastern developer take on the West with a new and exciting game, and even more so that they are showing a willingness to support the PS Vita when so many others are seemingly shunning the spectacular device.
