Nintendo Games Dominate Top of Weekly Japanese Retailer Sales Charts

Major Japanese retailer Tsutaya has updated its weekly rankings of the nations hottest games. It’s not the official list of top-selling games in the nation, but nine times out of ten, their charts match the official sales ones.

This week’s top 20 games are listed below. Nintendo is doing pretty good, yeah? Splatoon is still sitting pretty in the top ten, quite some time after its release, too. Super Mario Maker is also doing alright, but Metal Gear Solid V has been dropping steadily since release and Nathan Drake’s compilation has dropped like a lead stone.
