The Special Edition Star Wars Bundle Won’t Be Coming to Xbox One

During a recent Q&A session with the community Battlefront Community Manager Mathew Everett revealed some interesting news.

Foremost among these was that the Xbox would not be receiving a special edition bundle with Battlefront and is quoted saying, “the exclusive console for Star Wars Battlefront is limited to PlayStation 4.”

He also did the standard company run around regarding the potential for the special edition’s controller to be sold separately like the PlayStation 20th anniversary controller by claiming he had no news and telling us to stay tuned.

Along with all of the hardware conversation there was also questions about Battlefront. Most of them drew out the old “no comment,” fallback of most companies but he informed us that Battlefront will have indoor maps as well as maps that are both indoor and outdoor. This may be a standard feature but it is still nice to have it confirmed.

Gutted that you won’t be able to get your hands on an Xbox One Star Wars console, or are you indifferent? Use the force to move your cursor to the comments section below.
