How to start Ousting the Giants in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
This particular side quest begins at the Lakeside Stable in Faron. To begin the quest, you have to speak to Kampo. He will tell you a story about three Hinox brothers who are in nearby caves. They are driving away customers, so it is up to you to take them out.
They are in three separate caves, so you will have to travel to three different nearby caves in order to take out the Hinox. The first cave is Rodai Lakefront Cave. The coordinates for this cave are (1890, -3121, 0134). You’ll also be able to get a Bubbulfrog in this cave if you haven’t been in this cave before. There are plenty of resources you can find too, whilst you’re exploring. This particular Hinox is a Red Hinox, so he’ll be the easiest to defeat.
That will be the Youngest Hinox Brother that you have defeated, and then you’ll have two left.
The Middle Hinox Brother can be found in Corta Lake Cave. The coordinates for this cave are (1679, -3042, 0166). Again, there is a Bubbulgem up for grabs here, but it will be in a Wind Tunnel. This Hinox is a Blue Hinox, meaning you’ll have a bit of a harder fight with him. Once you’ve got him down, that will be the Middle Hinox Brother down, and you’ll only have the eldest left to go.
Finally, you will want to go to Calora Lake Cave for the Eldest Hinox Brother. The exact coordinates for this cave are (2008, -3160, 0181). With no surprise, the Eldest Hinox Brother is a Black Hinox, making him the strongest out of the bunch. This means you may be in for a bit of a long battle with him. However, there are bomb barrels that you can use to your advantage in the room, and take chunks out of his health by using them.
Ousting the Giants rewards in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Once you have killed all three Hinox, head back to Kampo and he will give you a Mighty Fried Banana dish as a reward.
That’s everything you need to know about completing the Ousting the Giants side quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
